Signs of Revival Breaking out in Australia

Australia Revival Tour Phase 1: June 25-July 30, 2025
As we wrap up our Australia Revival Tour Phase 1, I wanted to share a recap of all God has done during our time here. It has been such a blessing to intentionally partner with the School of Revival family here in this Great Southland of the Holy Spirit. The core team of this trip consisted of myself, Sara, and Claire who invited us. Each ministry trip within the country was in conjunction with other School of Revival family in our Revival Leader’s Network or through personal relationship and connection. We have noticed such a sweet flow of the Holy Spirit and outpouring of fresh oil as we partnered in unity with kindred spirits and our revival family here in Australia.
Byron Bay | June 28-29, 2025
Last time I was here was in January 2019. And now, what a complete privilege to partner with what God is doing in Byron Bay for such a time as this. So grateful for this gift to be in this beautiful nation with so many special ones.
So far my time in Byron has been filled with adventures, special assignments, lots of firsts including ice baths and Pilates, taking communion in epic places, meeting pioneers who are building bridges for people to encounter God, seeing old friends and meeting new ones, being with the School of Revival family, crazy anointed family worship nights, riding warm water waves, epic homemade meals, and getting to be a part of what God is birthing in this region.
Byron feels pregnant with revival. There’s such hunger and openness to the Holy Spirit here. So many beautiful burning ones are planted here who are leaning into God’s story for this region.
The first ministry engagement I had in Australia this trip was when I had the opportunity to be a part of beautiful Claire’s worship encounter night she’s been stewarding in the heart of the city. I released a word about God restoring dreams that have been aborted. The next day I found out that one of the founding members of the church was stirred and reminded of a dream God gave her years ago when I mentioned that. When she searched out her journals to find the promise God had spoken to her, she discovered it was exactly 40 years ago to the DAY on June 28, 1985! God resurrected a 40-year-old dream to her on the 40 year anniversary of when He gave it to her to the exact day decades later! Wow wow wow!! And that’s just one of the many testimonies of God moving in a special way in this region, the eastern most part of the nation of Australia
“Then the man brought me to the gate facing east, and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory….The glory of the Lord entered the temple through the gate facing east. Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.”-Ezekiel 43:1-5 NIV
I also had the opportunity to minister Sunday morning at Eastgate church which is in the heart of city. God broke out in such a sweet way as I shared about revival and released the testimony of the Welsh Revival. People began weeping in the crowd before I even began my teaching. Many then came to the altar to surrender all to Jesus afresh. Something is brewing here, I can feel it!
Please pray for the burning ones in Byron Bay and for God to continue tenderizing people’s hearts and igniting revival in this region for such a time as this. 🔥🔥🔥
Rockhampton | July 4-7, 2025
Brydon is one of the pastors in our School of Revival Leader’s Network who wakes up at 1am to be a part of our calls so I just knew I had to visit his church while in Australia. The community in Rockhampton is so beautiful, full of fire, and family.
God crashed in powerfully in our leader’s meeting. I threw out my notes and we just dove into the river of Holy Spirit and partnered with what God was doing in ministering His love to His precious saints. Many wept as the overwhelming love of the Father was poured out and resting upon them Was a profound night of experiencing His tangible manifest glory.
Sunday morning, I shared the testimony of the Welsh Revival and many were marked. Then in the evening service, during worship I felt stirred to change my talk so I pivoted to my Less than 20 talk and wow, the Lord moved powerfully!!
There was a marked crossing of the threshold from the carpet to the wood flooring at the altar. Before I even dove into the message and was just preparing people with some testimonies people came up to the altar and laid prostrate before the Lord in total surrender and consecration. More and more came to the altar to step into a lifestyle of consecration to be a revivalist. His fire increased. Spontaneous worship broke out at one point, deliverance too. Then a beautiful lingering in His presence. It was a profound encounter for this community that I will never forget. I am still receiving testimonies from people whose lives have been radically altered from that weekend together.
On the Saturday had a beautiful hike and then when our flight got delayed we did a spontaneous zoo visit. So honored to partner with what God is doing in the region and so very proud of Brydon is stewarding cultivating revival in family there.
Melbourne: Return Conference | July 7-14, 2025
When Alex who is a part of our School of Revival Leader’s Network invited me to minister at his conference in Melbourne, he had no idea I was already planning to be in Australia at that same exact time!! I knew this was God’s perfect timing!
What a powerful week we had in Melbourne at Fire Church’s Return conference. We kicked it off with a Thursday morning pastors/leader gathering where our friend Tom and Claire got to lead worship so beautifully and where God crashed in and healed hearts, restored dreams.
On Friday after Ben Wilson gave a great message on hunger, I did a teaching where I defined revival as well as shared some revival history of what God has done in Australia. In the evening Ben did a beautiful message on being a Mary at the feet of Jesus and we all lingered in His presence. It was super special.
Then on Saturday, I shared about the Moravians and did an altar call for martyrdom where an 11-year-old boy came up for the call! So precious to see even at that tender age young ones all in for Jesus. After the break, I did a teaching on Sustain the Flame and practical ways in how to steward encounters and moves of God in our own hearts and regions.
Then Saturday night was one of my favorites when the Holy Spirit completely took over the meeting! I shared my Less than 20 and Welsh Revival talk as people came to the altar throughout the message to consecrate themselves as revivalists. People were getting marked the entire message.
Then at the end when we were waiting on the Holy Spirit, I felt to ask the keyboardist to play “Oh Lord Your Beautiful” so we could lean into ministering to the Lord. He said he could but that I would have to sing because his microphone wasn’t live. I knew that was not going to happen (LOL!) so as I walked across the altar to try and find him a microphone, I saw my friend Tom already knelt down at the altar. I knew he was the one who was supposed to sing. I handed him the microphone and from his knees at the altar he led us all into Oh Lord You’re Beautiful. It was so special. As I encouraged him to continue leading us in worship, he eventually switched up the song and we took off in a whole other realm. God crashed in and for the next few hours we all worshiped Jesus spontaneously. The band eventually came back up and everyone, including the kids were dancing and singing high praise. The meeting lasted for 5 hours. Many later told us that the conference was nothing like they expected but was their favorite one yet!
One of my favorite things about this whole conference was hearing how the ministry team had all been trained on how to be catchers to catch people when they fall after someone lays hands on them. However, throughout the entire conference, not ONE catcher was needed because people freely came to the altar and laid prostrate or knelt down even before the message was finished or anyone had a chance to lay hands on them. They postured themselves to receive a powerful touch from God before one person laid a hand on them. They chose consecration. How special when a people freely choose to lay down their lives at the altar and welcome the fire of God’s presence to refine and purify them.
Sunday morning, I gave a message out of Joshua 3 and how there’s a crossing over into the new era and that God is raising up a Joshua generation to lead people into and steward this new era.
So grateful for all God did and how He moved. Believing for great lasting fruit in the region and beyond!
SYDNEY | July 18-21, 2025
Saturday night I walked into Zion church to see my spiritual son Felix who partnered with me at Destiny House in Redding, California years before doing part 1 of worship in preparation for the worship encounter night we were to have. Instead of band practice, they just dove into worshipping Jesus as their preparation before part 2 which would be when the rest of the people would show up to dive into the flow. I was so grateful to walk into part 1 because it was only him, the band, and a few others. The presence of God was strong in the room. I put my bags down and dropped to my knees and just worshiped. I didn’t meet the pastor or greet anyone in the room. I went straight into the throne room and lingered with the few in God’s presence. I was well getting wrecked before the night had officially even begun. After they broke from part 1 to pray with the team before our official meeting started, I finally met the pastor of the church and immediately it felt like family.
When the meeting officially started, I shared a bit of what God had already been pouring out in Australia in our revival tour and all He had been doing in the regions leading up to that point. Then we just dove into worship. We could feel the tangible hunger in those present and knew there would be more for us all later on. Later on in the set, I came back up to continue ministering and called people up for total consecration as we lingered in His presence. I asked Claire if she had anything to release. A few minutes later came up to share what she felt was on God’s heart for the church and then began to call the church to honor the pastor and cover him in prayer. I walked over to him and laid a hand on him. Then Felix said, “why not now?” So, I led him to the middle of the room, and we all gathered around him. Then his father came, and with tears streaming down his cheeks, began to pray bold prayers and call out the gold in his son. It was powerful! Felix continued to lead the charge in blessing him. Then another one felt to raise up his arms as those did for Moses when Joshua was on the battle ground. We all continued to lavish Josiah with prayers. It was a significant moment. Something had happened that night and we wait in expectancy to see the fruit that will abound.
As I reflect on that moment when the Holy Spirit took over the meeting and orchestrated such a beautiful movement of the body of Christ surrounding and loving their leader, I notice something special also happened. I opened and shared what was on my heart for Australia, Felix led us in worship, then at the end when I was done ministering, I passed it over to Claire who then was catalytic to orchestrate honoring the pastor. Felix then led the charge in the honoring. Both Claire and Felix were used by the Spirit to lead people even deeper into the flow of the Spirit. There is such a beautiful synergy when ministering with family and from a place of love and overflow in relationship with those you are running with. To minister alongside spiritual sons and daughters together and see God pour out even more in the context of family and through them stepping out is one of the most beautiful things. I couldn’t be more proud of them. Ministry is fun and easy when you’re doing it in alignment with the right people God has positioned you to run with for such a time as this.
Kairos moment: Another crazy thing that happened at Zion church is that someone I had done some writing coaching with nearly 5 years ago and who did Writing in the Glory actually goes to this church and was releasing his book that exact same weekend God had brought me there. Philip Ryall was flying out on the Monday to the States to release his book entitled Dear Unity there. I had the honor and opportunity, along with the church, to surround and bless and launch him on Sunday at church as he stewards and celebrates this book that was being released that very weekend. Kairos moments like that encourage me so much and help me know that I am in the right place at the right time. Such a special and targeted trip to Sydney that I will never forget. Can’t wait to be back there for part 2 in Sydney with this community this September!
Tasmania | July 24-28, 2025
What a great week in Tasmania. So much synergy! What a treat to minister together with one of my spiritual fathers, Mark Brookes, and alongside the Bethel & BSSM family.
Tasmania is in the southern part of the nation and God crashed in and moved in a special way here.
On July 25, 2025, I had a chance to share about the prophetic inheritance of Tasmania which was so fun. The next morning in one of the sessions there was 45 minutes of corporate silence where the Spirit descended.
Then on the Saturday afternoon I shared about the Welsh Revival and Azusa Street Revival. In this conference titled Heavy Rain, as I was sharing about William J. Seymour, we could literally hear heavy rain pouring down on the room of the conference center. It was wild! Then I did a call for revivalists and those who would be willing to pay the price to see God move in their region. So beautiful to see so many surrendered hearts.
Later that night there was a prophetic song released about God raising up the Joshua’s of Australia! So powerful and prophetic for what the Lord is doing… raising up a new guard of leaders for the new era, a Joshua generation. It’s Australia’s time!
Sunday morning Mark preached on Exodus 33 which was fire. I also got to see the building that is being prepared as an apostolic center right in the heart of Smithton.
What would a town of 4,000 people look like if the whole town was saved and on fire for Jesus? Excited to see the beginnings of something beautiful being birthed in the region. Watch this space, something significant will come from this south gate of Tasmania.
Prophetic summary of Phase 1 of Revival Tour Australia
We started our revival tour on the eastern most gate of the nation in Byron Bay with the first sign being resurrection of a 40 year old prophetic word released on the exact same day 40 years before. This is significant of God transitioning His people from 40 years in the desert, by Joshua leading them to cross over into a new era and step into their promised land. God then crashed in at Rockhampton coming with His Kabod presence over the leaders meeting with people weeping, then Holy Spirit take over as all laid their lives prostrate on the altar for total consecration for the purposes of God. Sanctification is something God does, but consecration is something we get to do.
The Melbourne Return conference was also marked by not one catcher needed the entire conference because the people freely knelt or laid down at the altar in response to a call to martyrdom and for revivalists. Here there was the sense that we’ve already crossed over, and God is raising up new leaders for the new era that won’t look like previous ones. Joshua had a different gifting than Moses. It was his time to break the tall poppy syndrome and shine to be the gift God destined Him for. In our encounter night in Sydney, the Spirit moved greatly and next thing we knew, we surrounded pastor Josiah then someone raised his arms raised like Aaron and Hur held up Moses hands. His father blessed him boldly with tears. There was a trues commissioning happening. Leaders taking their place. God also broke out in Tasmania in a powerful way with a prophetic song “raise up the Joshua’s here in Australia” followed by a lion’s roar to seal the conference.
Key Scriptures: Ezekiel 43 & 47, Joshua 3
Key themes: Crossing the threshold into a new era, into the Promised Land after 40 years. God is raising up a Joshua generation for such a time as this.
Extending my time in Australia
After running hard for 5 weeks in a row on our revival tour here in Australia, and after studying revival history for over 25 years and even doing a PhD in it, I am recognizing the greatest move of the Spirit that’s ever existed here has now begun. I am selling my house so I can dive all in for what the Lord wants to pour out in this Southland of the Holy Spirit. (PM me if you’re interesting in continuing the vision of Miracle House)
We are even shifting our School of Revival 9 months of Consecration and 40 day fast Sep. 1-Oct. 10 to focus our prayers, pour into, come alongside, partner, and midwife this great nation into their God given inheritance and destiny for such a time as this.
All that to say, I believe that NOW is Australia’s kairos moment. Please partner in prayer, fasting, sowing into what God is doing here for such a time as this. What if we can birth the greatest move of God in history as we know it for such a time as this?
